Studies on oil palm plantation expansion have been widely conducted and still debatable. This condition is caused by the increase in land every year. It cannot be separated from role of investors/private companies, state, smallholders. paper focuses farmer perspective plantations with purpose describing economy, income diversification working time. study used a qualitative quantitative approach types data this were secondary primary data. The farmers feel benefit economic side, increasing welfare levels. On other hand, presence has led to livelihoods farmer, it makes easy borrow formal non-formal institutions.
